Simon hails from, and lives in the Scottish West Highlands. He has made a name for himself, not only through his many regular television appearances in several countries, but also as a creator of exquisite fine foods with numerous global awards to his name. He has cooked for Royalty and US Presidents on a number of occasions. His foods have featured on Concorde and in exclusive hotels and restaurants around the world.
Simon is also an accomplished after dinner speaker, known for his witty deliveries on a wide range of topics.
Simon has made many television appearances around the world. He is a regular co-presenter with USA Global TV and Radio on the "United Kingdom News and Culture Show". He has also made two six part series, one with Sky television in "Gentlemen at Large", filmed in Portugal, and one with USA Global TV and Radio; "The United Kitchens", which was filmed from Simon's own kitchen.
Simon has also been on many BBC and ITV daytime shows in the UK as well as featured on documentaries in France, Germany and Australia.
Simon is well known for his creative and imaginative culinary skills. He has made many guest appearances on daytime television cooking some amazing dishes. He is also well known on the demonstration circuit for his one man shows at food fairs, exhibitions and instore promotions. Simon enjoys audience interaction, making his shows a memorable experience for everyone.

Simon has written for a number of publications over the years, but now has written a children's book of fairy tale poetry, due to be published soon through Norns Triad Publications. This delightful book of short poems written specifically, and intentionally, from the child's perspective has an innocence and feel good factor for children, and indeed, for people of all ages!
This book will be followed on with a cookbook which will take the reader back to basics, including knife, utensil and pot care. It will give menu ideas from breakfasts, to lunches and dinners with simple easy to follow recipes and serving suggestions, including wine pairing.
